Teraflex Rear 1/2" Coil Spacer Load Level Kit Reviews
Awesome simple install. I stacked 2 for a full 1inch lift in my Rubicon which came from the factory with a reverse rake.
Level out stance
This is exactly what I needed. I mounted two kits (one on top of the other) to get a total of 1" which compensated for the overweight of my "LoD bumper" and the sagging of the rear of my Jeep JL.
Questions

Stacking vs. Replacing
The Teraflex 1/2" Spacer is specifically designed to be stacked with your factory spring isolator.
How it works: You place the Teraflex spacer against the frame, and then fit the factory rubber isolator (which has the "locating nub") into the bottom of the Teraflex spacer.
The Result: Since you are adding 1/2" of material to the existing stack, you get exactly 1/2" of lift. This is the standard way to "level" a Jeep that is sagging due to a heavy rear bumper or gear.
The "Locating Nub" Requirement
If your tech wants to replace the factory isolator entirely (rather than stacking), the 1/2" Teraflex spacer will not work alone.
The Issue: The Teraflex 1/2" spacer is a flat puck. It does not have the integrated rubber "nub" required to index the spring and stay centered in the frame hole.
The Solution: If you go the replacement route, you would need a 1" Coil Spacer that features an integrated guide. However, most 1" spacers are also designed to be stacked.
Recommendation for Your Tech
Tell your tech that the Teraflex 1155120 is intended to be stacked on top of the factory isolator.
The factory isolator remains in contact with the spring (maintaining the "nub" alignment).
The Teraflex spacer sits between the isolator and the frame.
This setup is common, safe, and achieves your 1/2" lift goal without needing a 1" part.
