Quadratec is currently recruiting and interviewing for a knowledgeable and reliable Product Development Manager to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will lead our Product Development team and their projects while improving speed and quality, maximizing efficiency, increasing visibility, and meeting/exceeding deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in automotive Product Development

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong ability to empower teams while holding them accountable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong international negotiating and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in automotive parts/accessories design and Computer Aided Design (CAD)
  • Strong experience in international supply-chains
  • Willingness to travel internationally (1-3 times annually)
  • Patent law experience a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include managing a team responsible for:

  • Working with the marketing team to determine the appropriate automotive aftermarket products to develop or update
  • Designing new products in multiple categories under a variety of house-brands
  • Creating and test-fitting prototype products
  • Identifying, developing, managing, and sourcing product specific-production from domestic and overseas manufacturing partners
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control both in-factory and post-manufacturing
  • Managing legal and patent issues
  • Developing packaging and user instructions/manuals
  • Post-production Customer Service Support
