Questions

Since your vehicle is a "Heater Only" (no A/C) model, the standard wiring kit will fit the chassis, but the included HVAC control panel (which usually features an A/C button) will not be a direct match for your current dashboard setup.
Main Wiring Package: Mopar Hard Top Wiring Package 82210215AI This is the core kit for 2007–2010 models. It includes the long wiring harness that runs from the dashboard to the rear of the Jeep, the plumbing for the washer fluid, and the necessary relays.
Essential Switch for No A/C: Mopar Part #55111842AD (Heater Switch) Standard kits include a switch panel designed for Jeeps with A/C. For your specific 6-speed manual with heater only, you need this separate switch to properly activate the rear defrost and wiper without having an "empty" or non-functional A/C button. Note: This specific switch is often discontinued, so you may need to source it from a Mopar specialty site or eBay.
Washer Fluid Setup
You do not need to install a separate rear tank.
Shared Reservoir: The JK Wrangler uses a single washer fluid tank located in the front engine bay (driver's side).
Dual Outlet Pump: The wiring kit includes a new dual-outlet pump that replaces your factory single-outlet pump.
Plumbing: You will run a new fluid line (included in the kit) from the front pump, through the firewall, along the passenger side floorboard, and back to the hardtop.
Installation & Fitment Notes
6-Speed Manual: The harness is compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions; the manual just requires slightly different routing through the firewall.
2008 Top on 2009 Jeep: This is a direct match. The wiring connectors for 2007–2010 hardtops are identical. (A change occurred in 2011, so you are safe with a 2008 top).
Dealer Programming: After installation, you must take your Jeep to a dealer to have them "flash" the vehicle's computer (adding the J6 sales code) so the Jeep knows the rear wiper and defrost are now attached.
