pretty easy to install. it's better to install it with a helper. looks fantastic and is very sturdy. In my opinion it's a huge upgrade in looks and storage/ transporting capabilities. Just be prepared to deal with your jeeps bolts and welded nuts, because as things get old they start to rust and break like everything. overall love it.

Does it work with after market bumpers with tire carriers

Does this bolt to the frame or bumper? I have a 1991 YJ with a soft top. Would be cool to be able to use for overlanding as storage or a RTT. I also have an aftermarket rear bumper with tire carrier.
This is body-mounted (front) and bumper-mounted (rear). The rack can support 300lbs of evenly distributed cargo.
