Description
This compact vehicle mounted Air Locker Air Activation System has been specifically designed to provide on-board air for activating ARB Air Locker locking differentials. A smaller unit, it comes with a mounting bracket that allows versatile positioning and is sealed for moisture and dust resistance with quality components used for reliable compressed air and extra long life.
Note: Not intended for tire inflation. Air compressor is for engaging ARB air locking differentials.

Will this unit inflate 35' tires?
The ARB CKSA12 Compact Air Compressor is not recommended for inflating 35-inch tires.
This specific model is designed primarily to provide the high-pressure, low-volume airflow required to operate Air Lockers (pneumatic locking differentials). While it can technically move air, it lacks the volume and duty cycle needed to fill large off-road tires efficiently.
Airflow Volume: The CKSA12 produces approximately 0.88 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) at zero pressure. For context, a 35-inch tire contains a massive volume of air; using this compressor to go from trail pressure (15 PSI) to street pressure (35 PSI) could take over 15–20 minutes per tire.
Duty Cycle & Heat: Because it has to work so hard for so long to fill a large tire, the compressor will likely reach its thermal cut-off before you finish all four tires, potentially causing internal damage over time.
Pressure Switch: The internal pressure switch is tuned for lockers (cycling between 70–100 PSI), which isn't optimized for the sustained flow needed for tire inflation.
Better Alternatives for 35" Tires
If you need a compressor that can handle 35-inch tires reliably, you should look at these higher-output models from ARB:
ARB High Output On-Board Compressor (CKMA12): This is the "gold standard" for most Jeep owners. it produces 2.65 CFM, which can inflate a 35-inch tire in about 2–3 minutes. It can also run Air Lockers simultaneously.
ARB Twin High Performance On-Board Compressor (CKMTA12): This unit produces 6.16 CFM. It is fast enough to run air tools and can inflate a 35-inch tire in under a minute.

Will this need an air tank along with it, or is it a stand alone unit?
It depends on what you plan to do with this compressor. If you are going to run air tools or fill multiple large tires quickly, I recommend also purchasing an air tank. If you are using this to run air lockers or inflate tires you do not need an auxiliary tank.
