Description
High Density Polyethylene fuel tanks are safer, lighter and very reliable. Models available for most CJ and Wrangler vehicles. 21 Gallon tank. This kit will only replace the factory 15 gallon tank, will not replace factory 20 gallon tank. Not compatible with CJ Scrambler or factory 20 gallon skid plate.
Note: Includes spacers to lower the factory 15 gallon style skid plate reducing ground clearance by 5 inches. Skid plate is sold separate.

Just installed this fuel tank. Fuel gauge not registering correctly. How many Ohms is it supposed to be??? Have 11 gallons in tank and it registers empty on the gauge.
The correct fuel sending unit must be used. The ratings on the included sending unit should be Ohm range: Full 8.6-10.6, Empty 70-80. Thanks for your inquiry.

installed this on a 83 CJ-7: do you need to recalibrate the fuel gage?
No need to re-calibrate. The sending unit will be the correct ohms to be used along with factory CJ fuel gauges. Thanks for your inquiry.
