1984 4.2, 258 ci. Engine. No new studded bridges needed as there are no studded bridges on this engine. Had to tap two holes in block. Carb sided.
Only 2 5/16 screws needed. Carb side. Tap for these.
% 1/4 needed not 2. 1 on each end and 3 on battery side.

The Installation Instructions say you have to tap 5 guide holes. How difficult is this?
Tapping those 5 guide holes in the OMIX 17401.14 Aluminum Valve Cover can range from moderately easy to slightly challenging depending on your experience and the tools you have. Will it fit on 1990 YJ 4.2L
This only fits 81-87 CJ and YJ applications. It will not fit the 88-90 4.2L YJ's.
