Little tricky to install on a Cherokee but works great when you take off the fender

In general its always a good idea to use an isolator when wiring in your winch. I've used them on both my TJ and XJ.

Questions
Richard G.
What is the Amp rating of the solenoid? and is it continuous duty?

The solenoid included in the WARN 62132 Power Interrupt Kit is rated at 100 amps continuous duty with a 600 amp maximum in-rush surge capacity, making it robust enough to safely manage standard winch and accessory power loads.
To help protect your electrical system and prevent parasitic battery drain during long-term vehicle storage, this genuine WARN 62132 Power Interrupt Kit easily connects to your battery lead and features a convenient dash-mounted switch.

Is it possible to use my rough country 8 gang switch controller to close the circuit rather then using the supplied switch for the winch interrupt

Yes, it is entirely possible and a very common upgrade to use your Rough Country 8-Gang Switch Controller to trigger the WARN Power Interrupt Kit (62132).
Instead of using the manual dash-mounted switch included in the kit, you will use the Rough Country's relay box to send the activation signal to the WARN solenoid.

How many amps does the activation switch draw. Installing in a JL with the aux switch panel. Can I use a 15 amp switch or should I use the 40 amp switch?

That switch in that kit draws less than 5 amps so the 15 amp circuit will be fine. Thanks for your inquiry.
