RES-Q 30 Amp Portable Air Compressor Reviews
Needed
With the price of this air compressor, you are getting great bang for your buck! For reference, I took my tire from 14 to 33 PSI in about 2 and a half minutes. So it was about 10 minutes to do all 4 if you're worried about that sort of thing. For me, I have a lot still left in my build, so spending $300 or $400 on an air compressor isn't at the top of my list. But this one is perfect.
I had a previous compressor that I got from a name brand hardware store. The problem was the bag immediately started falling apart, the hose had to be screwed on and off to the tire valve stem, and it just felt cheap. That last one just really wasn't a great value.
A few things I quickly liked about this one were the quick-connect hose, the bag, and the overall build and components.The bag is big and feels pretty durable. It keeps its form and there is plenty of room to store everything it comes with and more. Additionally, the hose easily clips on and off of the valve stem, so it makes adding air so quick and easy. And the overall build quality is fantastic. It feels nice and durable, it has a thick, comfortable foam handle, and even has a protective cover over the power switch to keep dirt and dust from getting in. Another great product from Quadratec.
I bought the air compressor in a package with the RES-Q Automatic Tire Deflators which are also awesome! Once you calibrate them, you just screw them onto the valve stems and let them go! Which is super convenient if you're like me and have to manually disconnect and secure your sway bars. So I can do that while I air down. I'm so far loving the RES-Q products!
If you’re looking for a reliable air compressor that won’t break the bank then this is it. Pretty quick too, had all 4 tires pumped back to 35 PSI from 20 PSI in under 10 minutes.
