Hi! Just bought a JLU Willy's 4dr. I upgraded to the LED package, but only includes LED headlights and fog lamps. The fender flares are Halogen. Is this my best option to get LED lights on the fender flares? If not, what do you suggest?

You can purchase aftermarket or production LED lights if you would rather not change your fender flares. If you are interested in the additional tire clearance that these flares offer as well then this is a great option.

I have a 2019 JLU Sport. If I purchase these with the led option, will they work properly?

LED option will require a dealer flash to operate properly

Here in Australia we need to have tyre width covered totally. What is the widest tyre possible with these and do you make extenders to cover wider?

The difference is in the height (clearance) of the flare. They are the same width. The 285/70 R17 (11" Wide) Rubicon size tire is the widest that you can fit while still staying within the flares

With the paintable primer texture be enough to vinyl wrap it or does it have to be painted first before wrapping

The paintable primer option is not textured. If you are having a wrap applied this would be the best choice. The only for painting then is if there will be exposed area of the wrap.

Will it fit 2018 JL sports?

I have been to the dealership 3 times. What is a dealer flash code??

The dealership has a module that connects to the vehicles computer which can change the sales codes for the system. If you are changing from Halogen to LED then the system needs to be told so. This will correct any malfunctioning or activate the LED as a Daytime Running Light. Sales code is LPY

I have jl sport , I bought DRLs for fenderS but It won’t fit any advice

You may have purchased DRL's for a Rubicon/Sahara model which have wider fenders. Please contact my customer service department at 1-800-745-5337

Do you have any idea of any mechanic around the Chicago area who is good on Jeep Wranglers ?

Unfortunately we do not have a chosen installer list around the country. It would be worth a couple minutes to check the forums and Jeep clubs in your area, the members there are usually straight shooters.

If I switch from halogen to the LED version, do I need to install resistors to eliminate hyper blinking or are they built in already.

You need to visit a dealership to have the computer flashed with the new sales code to accept the LED's
