I really like they way they look, and I like that they plug into the factory wiring harness. It's a really easy install- once you know how to unplug the factory harness. It's in a location that's hard to see. The plug will slide off it's mounting location if you push toward the fender. The red tab if on the bottom of the plug, facing the fender. Once you slide the little red tab back, put a small screwdriver into the slot on the bottom of the plug and lift a little tab inside. Then, it unplugs easily. I think I spend 30 minutes figuring all this out.

When I cut the holes in the grill, I tried to make them as small as I could because I wanted to make sure the lights would fit securely. There's no need to do this- you'll need every bit of the space shown on the instructions to make the lights fit into the grill. They seem to fit very securely.

This Pre-runner light kit was a great start, I ordered smoked lights to replace the orange ones that came with it. After swapping out the lights and installing them it was a good choice and everything blends nicely now.

Better instructions on disconnecting the stock wire harness would be nice. I spent more time on that than any other part of the install. The harness can be reached from the engine bay, but disconnecting the plug is a challenge. They don't "simply" unplug, and yes the safety switch had been released. It almost felt like there was a clip on the back side. Maybe removal from the underside would make that easier. Who knows, since the directions aren't that clear about accessing/unplugging it. They only say to "locate" and unplug it.

With that done, the lights look good though. I installed them into an aftermarket grille (American flag design). Install was still straight forward. Instead of snipping the sock grille, I had to drill 3 holes (3/4") in the aftermarket one to mount the lights.

Although the kit comes with a plug and play harness, I opted to wire the lights to one of my aux switches. Super easy and gives you flexibility.

Had a bit of trouble figuring out where the connector was on the Mojave using the instructions. Once I located it, everything else was straightforward. On the Gladiator, there is no cutting or permanent modification to the vehicle. If I had to buy another Gladiator, these would go on it right away. Very high quality construction and design.

Good project which took about an hour to do. I did lower the drivers side inner fender to allow better visibility and release of the factory plug and proper engagement of the pre runner light harness plug. Some of these factory plugs can be tricky to separate and engage if you can't see them clearly. Quality, fit and finish of the lights in the grill looks like a factory option. Excellent product highly recommended for a nice visible upgrade.
