Reviews for Quadratec Flashlight Holder for 18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited & Gladiator JT
2 stars for innovation and utilization of unused space. I don’t recommend this item. I’m on my second one due to it breaking. The clips are too fragile and broke both times from just removing it. Thinking about it I probably only removed it from the mount less than 8 times. The flashlight doesn’t put out good light. While it’s bright it appears to have a purple tint to the light it puts out. Not very effective for seeing details. My Jeep is garaged and isn’t exposed to high temps throughout the year so the plastic shouldn’t have been effected.
Easy install, nice look, easy access
1st time I removed the flashlight and one of the brackets broke , no warranty, and only offered a 10% discount and no free shipping. Sorry folks, but going forward I will not purchase Quadratec products but rather pay a bit more for better warranty.
Installed the flashlight holder and pulled the light out three times (A Coast G450) and the one bracket broke on the third attempt on Day 2. The bracket still hold the light, but less securely. If you plan to use your flashlight regularly, I wouldn't recommend this bracket.
Snapped this onto my wife's Wrangler and thought it would be great. However, within two months, one of the two holding clips had snapped off and it became useless.
Great idea and concept. But the clips broke within 2 days of me having it installed and trying to put my flashlight back on it.
Already broke one of the tabs, nice product but wouldn't buy again.
Just not durable enough. I have purchased two of these and on both the clips holding the flashlight has broken. I use my flashlight on a regular basis, and it just doesn't hold up. For a previous JK I purchased that version and never had a problem.
My foot caught the flashlight while getting out of the Jeep and broke the plastic arm.
Flashlight is not as well built. It does not appear as though it would stand up to rough use. It is not very bright, I have other flashlights that are smaller cheaper and by far brighter. The threads for closing the back of the light are a fine machine thread making it very difficult to not cross thread when closing the back. With the batteries in place closing the back of the flashlight takes patients. Overall its an overpriced product of low quality.
Loved this item, right up until the first really cold night (in the 20's...cold here for TX) and I pulled the flashlight out and one of the clips broke. Would like to see this made out of better quality materials.
