Reviews for Quadratec Flashlight Holder for 18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited & Gladiator JT
Cheap plastic that cracked within a few months. Probably fine if you never plan to access your flashlight, but save your money and go with a metal version if you actually plan to use it
I am generally pretty good on not over tightening things, but the thread insert for the clamp screw does not give that feedback one would expect. If you hear squeaking, the insert is probably stripped in the plastic.
Did not fit my 2024 Willys JL. Broke when I tried to "Snap" into place
The flashlight holder broke. One of the prongs that hold the flashlight in place snapped off.
Don't buy! Plastic clips broke the first time the Quadratec flashlight was removed and put back on place.
Most of my quadratec stuff has been great. This thing was an exception. Cheap plastic snapped like a dry twig soon as the weather dipped into the teens. Save you $20 on this one unless you live in year round warm weather
Total waste of money. Tried to install on my 22 Wrangler 4xe and it just snapped in half making it useless. Guess I’ll just leave my flashlight in the rear compartment with my trailer hitch.
Bracket broke the first time I tried to take the flashlight out. It was 19° outside, maybe the plastic was brittle? Don't buy if you live anywhere where it freezes.
These brackets are garbage. Mine broke after putting the flashlight into them. The plastic is brittle and this is a bad design. I do not recommend it. It is over priced, and it fails within 1-2 times of using it.
I received these as a Christmas gift Dec 2021. I installed them and put a maglite in the Jeep. Took the flashlight out for the first time May 2022 and the front holder snapped apart.
