Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4-Door
These seat covers are pretty good, but do not be fooled by the installation video. That video does not begin to show you the contortions you have to put yourself in to get the hooks and buckles located in the correct places under the seats. Also be prepared to do some wrestling with the velcro closure if you are putting these on over the cloth seats. The carpet material on the back of the seats grabbed the closure velcro making it exceptionally hard to get the adjustment correct. It was far more involved than I expected to put these on, and I have put on many different brands of seat covers over the years. I found these to be exceptionally difficult to install. But once on they look good and fit ok.
easy install however hides the bolstering of the front seats.
Look great. Went on fairly easy. My only complaint is with the lack of instructions. No real guidance on all the straps, in particular the elastic with hooks.
They look as advertised in the picture. The 1st seat install took the longest but you will get more efficient with every seat. Loosen the straps before you pass them into the seats, easier to find underneath. I could see it would be easier with top off (more light) and even doors off. Install time was 75mins.
Put these on yesterday, they were a little difficult but patience is a virtue! They fit great and we even learned some new things about our Jeep during the install process. We then went for a ride and cranked up the heated seats and they warmed up relatively quickly, not as fast obviously without a seat cover but they had our tushes warm and cozy within a minute or two. They look great as well and the fitment was spot on, we have a 2019 JLU. In our case was better to install the bottoms before the seat backs, just FYI.
They fit well and look good. Seem to stain easily and show dirt. Installed on a 90 degree day and the first seat was stained from my sweat, used a towel to cover the rest of the seat covers before installing. Gets 4 stars based on that, and they'e kind of a pain in the butt to install because of having to squeeze your hand into so many tight spaces. Will update review in 6 months on durability.
Very happy with this purchase for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler JLU. The bottom seat covers occasionally slip out of place, but not much, and easy to fix. A second pair of hands from a friend will help to get them snug like they should be, which helps to keep them in place. I really like the feel and the quality of the material. I would recommend this.
In the world of affordable seat covers, these hands down rank the top of the list. They truly are like a wet suit for your seats. Although these were cheaper than some of the larger brands, I had high expectations based on the reviews. The rear seat fit is perfect and I have no complaints- definitely requires some patience- MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE CENTER HEADREST IN THE BACK SEAT BEFORE PUTTING THE COVER ON THE SEAT- my wife and I were ready to start the bottom part when we questioned why there are two holes in the middle of our seat cover- it was then we realized you take the headrest out, put the seat cover on, reinstall the headrest then put the smallest cover over it. the instructions were vague for the bottom part of the seat covers, but they were self explanatory once we started working them on. My major issue was with the fit of the front drivers seat. Despite working it slowly to evenly spread it out, I still feel it’s not very form fitting. It’s baggy and the area around the round lumbar adjustment does not permit the seat cover to stretch down far enough- the Velcro around the lumbar support ripped by barely even pulling it to help get the cover into place. Of all the covers, the drivers seat will be used the most and needs to be the absolute best fit or else it’ll be useless in no time. Definitely the best bang for your Buck, but plan on buying new front covers within a year after you’ve saved up for a bigger brand- cannot believe how expensive they are!
Overpriced for their durability. They look great out of the box and are easy to install. If you want to keep them looking great, you need to regularly treat the neoprene with UV protectant or they will start to fade within a month. The covers stain easier than your factory seats and are harder to clean. Once you get the pull straps set, tie knots in them so the seat bottoms don't become loose. From having to retighten the pull straps the neoprene will start to rip at the decorative seams.
After a year of use, the seat covers are still protecting my seats, but are on their way out. I couldn't justify spending over $200 on seat covers that require more maintenance than what they are protecting.
I was hoping for a tighter fit and a little better quality.
