Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 18-26 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4-Door
I bought these seat covers thinking they were high quality, especially for the price I paid. The seat covers look great once installed, however, after less than a year of installment the seat cover stitching has come loose along the inner seams of the seat portion and the stitching where the straps are attached have torn. I'm not sure of the warranty on these but am disappointed they didn't last longer than a year. Note: vehicle has never had doors off and has never been offroad. The seat covers have never been in the elements to degrade the material.
I got the red ones and the red color started fading towards pink within the first 2 months of use with the top off. I would not recommend getting them.
Front seat covers do not have “flaps” for the airbags to deploy from under the covers. Customer service indicated that supposedly there is “tear away” stitching in the appropriate area for the airbags. However, all of the stitching appeared to be the same to me, and customer service confirmed that they do not have any material available to the customer confirming/demonstrating that the covers do not interfere with the airbags. Not worth the risk for me.
I purchased these in yellow and black about 14 months ago. I have waited to review them because I wanted to see how they held up. After 14 months, the yellow has faded to a weird orange/yellow and the black has faded to a black/brown hue, you know the one... The seats do not clean easily, every drop shows, and I’m not messy (I keep towels on the seat for my dog, but sometimes she has wet paws). I ride with the top off when it’s nice out, but I have never been rained in (Maine). The drivers seat seams are beginning to pull apart from getting in and out.
The seat covers fit nice and snug, and vacuumed well. They were relatively easy to install.
Overall, I would not recommend these because of the fading, seam pulling apart, and lack of ease cleaning spill “marks” which is unfortunate. When the drivers side completely comes apart, I’ll be looking at something else, especially since the full set for my JLU was not inexpensive.
Just past the one year warranty and they have faded terribly...time to find new seat covers!
Within 3 months the seams started separating on the seat cover. I’m not a very large person (160 lbs). The buckles are constantly loosening and the bottom slides forward. I really expected better quality for the price we paid.
Extremely disappointed in this product. Purchased the red covers this year and they are already faded. They haven't even seen 1 summer yet in NJ and are completely faded. Don't waste your money if you plan on them seeing any sunlight.
I have had these less than 3 months and are already fading and are starting to look horrible and with all the rain we’ve had in Texas this summer I haven’t even had the top of very much. But I can definitely say they are an awesome fit and not extremely hard to install.
Installation instructions are basically non-existent. Multiple calls to Quadratec, but tech could not provide advice or promised and never delivered. 3 hours spent installing and I'm still unable to get top back double seat installed properly. They may be good product, but hard to tell if they can't be installed. I would recommend looking for an alternative.
Let me start by saying that I love Quadratec, and will continue to buy their products. Now to the product at hand. I have owned the red and black Diver Down seat covers four just over 5 months, and it looks like I have owned them since the mid 80s. The color has faded to the point that they are pink/almost white in areas. I live in SW Florida where the sun is intense, but would have expected these to last a couple of years. If you live in a sunny area, save your money. You way have better luck with other colors.
