Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 18-26 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4-Door
These get pretty "clammy" in the (southern Utah) desert. They also started ripping at the seams within about 20k miles. Total time they lasted (after 2 laundry washes - they hold dust pretty good... especially after getting clammy!) was about 30k miles.
Bought these covers for JL 2022. Fit is good originally, but with only a few months of use, they are starting to stretch a bit, "pillow" and fill with air with top and doors off. They were a little difficult to get on, but we figured it out. They are comfortable, but also not breathable in the summer weather. You will be sweaty after an hour ride. The worst part about these covers is the fading. I have a hard top and only had it off 1 time, but the red color has faded to a light pink after only 3 months on. The black has also faded a bit... we can see it when we move the back seatbelt. I would not recommend this product despite its comfort and waterproofing if you want the covers to look good.
Installed in May of this year and it is now October. Jeep is garaged except when driven. Black/Red seats are so faded they now qualify as light pink instead of red. Product specified "some" fading over time is to be expexted, but one summer of driving/garaging is ridiculous.
Additionally, tthe front seats secure with cheap elastic straps that have had to be tightened monthly or seat covers bumch up and slide off seat. They are stretched to the max now with no more elastic. Again, one summer of use.
The front seat covers are 3 pieces each seat: headrest, back, and base. Base slides forward and back slides up (or ballons up in wind when driving with top/doors off) resulting in 3-4 inch space between the two, where the two covers should come together. These front seats should be two-piece construction (headrest and seat) both for better seat protection and looks. Also, the flimsy velcro material that pulls through and folds down behind back and under seat to hold back piece, is very ineffective.
All around, they start out looking nice but fade EXTREMELY rapidly, don't fit well, and stretch out to fit even worse. As they are a couple hundred dollars and already needing to be replaced in one summer of use, I will not buy this product again, and not sure if I will look for a replacent through quadratec at all, as these seat covers are the ones plastered through emails and monthly catalogs.
Easy to install, however after only 5 months of use the front seats are completely faded!
I bought these red ones in May of this year along with the UV protectant and in less than two months with applying the UV protectant these things have faded allot.
I purchased these in mid-April 2021. live in NE Ohio. It doesn’t get warm enough here to remove doors/top until Late May-early June however we had a ton of rain this year. When I was finally able to remove my doors and top, I immediately noticed the seat part of the covers were turning pink. My Jeep is garaged every day and due to our subpar weather, I know these seats are t faded from the sun. Quadratec did offer a replacement which is on back order however seeing as the product is the same, I know they will also fade quickly.
Additionally, the material does not breathe at all. Anticipate a little swampage in the lower region of your body on a warm sunny day. Lol
Love Quadratec products in general, but save yourself the frustration and purchase another product. They look great - but these are not what I had hoped for. Stain easily and certainly not water proof/resistant!
Unfortunately, I accidentally ordered the wrong item, and returning it was too expensive for me to justify. While this was my mistake, I do wish the return process was easier. Next time, I’ll likely order from Amazon since they typically cover shipping, even in cases like this.
Anyone who said these are easy to install must work for the company and got paid to say that.
I am returning after fighting for a half hour just trying to get the flap between the seats on the driver side back cover.
Drivers seat bottom started messing up as soon as the 1 year warranty expired. Now I have a terrrible looking seat cover with only 9500 miles on my Jeep. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.
I will not be purchasing the set of diver down seat covers again. I have my top and doors off my jeep in North Carolina in Fort Bragg where I live one summer and the seat covers are completely bleached out the backseat never get sat in because it is just me and my dog in the front seat. I keep the front seat covered with towels and T-shirts over the back and they look brand new. The back ones are completely bleached out as well as the armrest cover. Not even one summer in there completely bleached. I am very disappointed will not be purchasing again I have pictures, but for some reason it’s not allowing me to send them
