Reviews for Clearlidz Front Hardtop Panel for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
This is a great product. I have had no problems, I went through the drive through car wash several times. I have had no leaks and very little wind noise. I have recommended this product to several people.
Great product, Has a little wind noise but its a JEEP. It looks great and Feels like I have a lot more room in the interior.
I love it! Makes up front feel more open and roomy! Living in a state with 4 seasons it will be great having the feel like the top will be down through them all.
Love my Clearlidz. I have a 2016 JKU and live in Florida. Having the Clearlidz on is like going topless, I enjoy the sunlight from above, but still run the AC. My Freedom Panels are tucked away in the garage and will probably never be on the Jeep again. I always felt claustrophobic in the Jeep cabin, but with the Clearidz, I don't have that feeling anymore
I have been running this product for almost a year now and refuse to take it off. The UV protection allows light in without feeling the best, rain go come down without getting wet. I choose this over a sunshade or bikini top any day!
Makes my Jeep feel more open in winter months when top is on
Haven't received it yet but it seems to be a good option. Time will tell.?
First off I love this thing. Worth the grand I paid. The negatives are just two.
1. If you have Spods the center latch will not engage at all. i am thinking about hacking it in half to allow it to latch.
2. the passenger side bolts leak. I reached out to Clearlidz to see if they have a fix no answer as of now. LIke all Jeep owners we will have to figure it out.
I may have to put tinting on the inside as to not fry the inside.
otherwise i love it.
An absolutely AWESOME product, much loved by the missus and I (its her Jeep). Temporarily leaving a 4-star rating, because of a few ultra-minor issues:
1.) Installation took us about 2hrs. Instructions recommend the rear two screws be secured first, before moving onto the four on the side. This resulted in the final screw not being aligned. My advice, is to only tighten after all six screws are in.
2.) More importantly, there is a minor water leak in heavy rain. Seems to seep in through one of fhe bolts. Might be able to solve the issue with some clear silicone (on the insides).
I love to see the sun! This is a great mod for jeeps. I do recommend this for jeep owners. It clamps in place to the front and uses large handle screws with pads that lay on the door bars. The problem is the air leaks and I have tried to adjust it many times and even used seal pieces to help but it hasn't. The noise isn't so loud I can't hear but would be nice to stop or reduce this. I will try again to adjust the roof in the spring.
Still...I would tell you to buy this!!
