Reviews for Quadratec Axle Back Exhaust for 18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL with 3.6L or 2.0L Engine
FYI. Installed on 2023 Rubicon. Fit perfect. Nice. Sounds good. Definitely not too Loud.
You want this! Paired with a Banks intake. The sound is crazy. MPG went up.
Very happy with the purchase, great sound but not too loud. Noticing about 10-15hp gain if I had to guess. Tone makes it more enjoyable to drive, can't believe I had stock exhaust for so long. Easy install as well. At some point your just paying for the name on the exhaust and I am happy I chose this brand with the nice price/quality. Would recommend.
Wow! This is definitely my favourite modification so far on the Jeep! I own a 2019 Jeep Wrangler JLUR with the 3.6 Pentastar and that little deep tone rumble is perfect! The installation was so easy it literally took 30 minutes! I definitely recommend this dual axle back exhaust!
Clean look.
Perfect! Great non obnoxious deep sound. Not much if any clearance with steel bumper but doesn't bother me none :)
Excellent product
Like the black, sounds great
I have really been loving this product so far. The look of this is supremely better than the ugly stock exhaust that comes on the Wranglers. The sound is definitely a good change too. I wouldn't say that it's super deep and beefy. If that's what you're looking for, this likely isn't a good choice for you. However, if you're looking for something that highlights the sound a bit more on the lower end and looks great and has a good cost, then you're in the right spot.
Now, the reason that I gave it 4-stars instead of 5. My Jeep was 1 week old when I put this on so there wasn't any rust or anything. The removal of the factory exhaust was quite easy and the install was going well for this one. However, after I got the factory hanging mounts moved over and got everything installed, no matter what I did the tips of the muffler were pushed up against the factory bumper (not the steel bumpers, just the standard bumpers). I took it off an tried repositioning everything and put it back on and still the same problem. I ended up taking my Jeep into a muffler place in town which replaced the factory hangers with longer ones. However, with it being longer it was a bit loose and they offered to weld a bracket to the muffler as well. In the end they only charged me about $50 to handle all of that for me, but it was still a pain.
The cost in the end was still better than other models that I had looked at, but I was a bit disappointed that I still ended up having to get a modification done to make it work.
Overall, I really like what I got, and would recommend it to others, just want to make sure that you know that you may need to do a little work to get it perfect.
The exhaust went on fairly easy and looked nice out of the box. After installing it does sit a bit crooked. May have to bend where the rubber hangers attach. It sounds good on the outside if you want a nice deep mild tone. However on the inside I have a lot of drone around 1600-2000rpm.
Overall not bad but it seems hard to find a great aftermarket option for the 2.0 turbo.
