The Quadratec Axle Back Exhaust for Jeep Wrangler JL is a great way to add some extra power and character to your vehicle. Engineered to make performance gains in horsepower and torque with an amazingly smooth, deep tone. This Dual Axle-Back Exhaust is easy to install and is an all-welded mandrel-bent design that has been powder coat painted Black for long life and great looks. The stainless-steel base construction and lap-joint welded construction provide rugged reliability even in extreme conditions. The straight-through perforated stainless-steel core with stainless mesh wrap and acoustical fiber fill delivers that smooth, deep tone that Jeep® enthusiasts love. Each Axle-Back Exhaust has been custom designed for Jeep Wranglers tucking the exhaust up higher than other standard models to avoid contact with trail obstacles. When used with a factory rear bumper, exhaust tips have a straight parallel rake. Due to the low profile, and high tuck, the dual tip rake on steel bumpers is slightly tilted down. To be honest, I’m kinda surprised by how easy it was to swap out my stock exhaust for the Quadratec Axle Back Exhaust. This was my first time doing work of any significance on my exhaust system, and the instructions and pictures made it super easy. Pro tip; DEFINITELY wear eye protection because removing your stock exhaust is sure to knock loose dirt and debris and you don’t want that in your eye.

Revving it up, this is a sexy exhaust. It’s not noisy and annoying and it’s not the anemic exhaust that came stock on my Jeep. It’s just enough rumble and purr that matches how powerful my Jeep is. Very satisfied with my purchase

Fit my jeep perfectly, It looks way better than my rusty OEM exhaust and it sounds very good. Not too loud and not too quiet, its the perfect sound for any off road jeep & the dual exhaust makes it look awesome too

I am so excited with the finished product on this exhaust upgrade. It looks so much cleaner than the stock exhaust and sounds amazing! I love the dual black tail pipes, makes the rear end look even sleeker. The install was rather smooth and did not take too long! I highly recommend for anyone looking to ditch that ugly stock exhaust.

What is approximately the hp gain on the 2.0 l turbo?
Switching to a dual exhaust system on your Jeep JL with a 2.0L engine will likely result in a modest horsepower gain, typically in the range of 5 to 10 horsepower at the wheels.
Would you please clarify whether the two oversized exhaust tips are welded on, or are they clamped on? The product photos show (3) clamps being used, but the video and some customer photos show welded on tips.
The previous design featured welded exhaust tips. This is our latest version that now includes clamp-on tips that can be easily removed on the trail, allowing for quick replacements or the option to swap for different tips.
Will this muffler work with the Quadratec aluminum muffler skid plate?
Yes, it does.
