Can you use a 4 pin to 7 pin adapter on this light? Thanks
The Diode Dynamics DD7422 HitchMount C1R LED Pod Reverse Kit is designed to plug directly into your vehicle's 7-pin trailer connector.
The included wiring harness has a 7-pin connector on one end that plugs into your vehicle's trailer socket. The other end connects to the LED pod.
Therefore, to use this light with a vehicle that only has a 4-pin trailer connector, you would need a 4-pin to 7-pin adapter.

Just looked under my 2017 JKU Sport, I didn't notice any plugs how would this work?

Will this product work on a 2020 Wrangler JL Unlimited Sport S? I added a tow hitch but I do not have a factory wiring harness.
The Diode Dynamics DD7420 HitchMount LED Pod Reverse Kit is designed to be plug-and-play with the factory 7-pin trailer connector on the 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020+ Gladiator JT. Since you added an aftermarket tow hitch and do not have a factory wiring harness, this kit will not work for you in its standard form. The Diode Dynamics DD7420 HitchMount LED Pod Reverse Kit will not be a simple plug-and-play solution for your 2020 Wrangler JL Unlimited Sport S without a factory trailer wiring harness. You will need to install a wiring harness and possibly modify the Diode Dynamics kit's wiring to make it function.

It says that this cool product will fit my 2016 Jeep Wrangler jku, however I didn’t notice how that could plug into my Jeep. Am I missing something? Could it be that this is for newer Jeep’s?
It is universal if equipped with a 7 way trailer wiring plug. Modifications can be made for use with 4 pin connector style trailer wiring as well. Thanks for your inquiry.

can this be converted for factory 4-wire trailer hitch setups?
If you do not have a 7-pin trailer connector, or the provided plug does not fit, you may proceed with installation if you wish by manually splicing wires to the original wire harness, as follows. Instructions will provide the details for the harness modification. Thanks for your inquiry.
