Its a replacement speaker. Buzzes a bit at high bass outputs but way better than a blown sub.

Installation instructions were very helpful. Would have liked a little more info on "Spanner nuts". Difficult to remove and cannot be reused. Thankfully, I had easy access to replacements. Sub works great, sounds great. Greatly improved the sound. Factory sub surround had completely deteriorated. Hoping improvements to this sub hold up for the long haul. Thanks Quadratech for having the only replacement option in the market.

Direct fit, works as advertised

Had some sticker shock when ordering this product, but after considering other aftermarket alternatives, the price didn't bother me as much. (Replacement not available from Jeep & other aftermarket speakers required some type or alteration.) Direct fit replacement was a very important factor to me, & this speaker does just that. No alterations were necessary & installation took very little time. Quadratec made some nice upgrades to the OEM speaker. I installed the speaker a couple of months ago, & I have been very satisfied w/ it's performance. Speaker sounds great.

Stock speaker sounded better. It was a direct replacement so was easy to install. It does sound good, but def not a “sub” NO BASS! I had it professionally installed and even the installer says the original speaker hit harder.

The reason for 3 stars is that after a few years it's blown. It didn't last nearly as long as the OEM sub.
I AM re-ordering though, because the plug and play of it outweighs the downside of limited longevity.

Great replacement product. A fraction of the price if tried to order through dealership. But after replacing factory head unit, speaker failed and was blown.

A perfect fit replacement but pretty weak, no punch. I would not call this a subwoofer. It's just a coated paper mid-bass woofer with rubber surrounds.
