Stock speaker sounded better. It was a direct replacement so was easy to install. It does sound good, but def not a “sub” NO BASS! I had it professionally installed and even the installer says the original speaker hit harder.

Easy installation, sounds good.
The reason for 3 stars is that after a few years it's blown. It didn't last nearly as long as the OEM sub.
I AM re-ordering though, because the plug and play of it outweighs the downside of limited longevity.

Great replacement product. A fraction of the price if tried to order through dealership. But after replacing factory head unit, speaker failed and was blown.

A perfect fit replacement but pretty weak, no punch. I would not call this a subwoofer. It's just a coated paper mid-bass woofer with rubber surrounds.

It is a replacement which is nice, but that’s where it stops. The sound quality is very poor and I’m not expecting much. I read online about some people using the Kicker CompRT which is about the same price. The Kicker requires some trimming of the interior of the sub enclosures fins/baffles which is very easy. The stock amp worked fine.

Bought this for my wife's 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Fit great as described, but did not last as long as expected. She's gentle on a stereo and it still ended up developing an annoying buzz. Having to revisit it with an alternate solution.

Went bad after 3 years of mild use. This isn't the kind of thing i want to replace every 3 years.
