What type of bit will I need to install the bolts?
The T40 Torx bit is the correct size for the fasteners holding the hard top to the Jeep's body. You can also purchase quick release screws that allow you to unscrew the top by hand; they are sold seperately.

I have a 13 2 door JK that came with a soft top; I want to purchase this hard top; will it fit correctly as you sell it?
And I would not be using the rear wiper or defrost units …so is there anything else that I would need to purchase when ordering ?

Yes, this is a factory hardtop, it will fit after removing your soft top. If you want the rear defrost and windshield wiper to work, you would need the conversion kit, otherwise, it's unnecessary. We would recommend quick release hardtop screws if you like to take your top off frequently. Delivery is by freight truck. It's not a common experience to have issues with delivery. We recommend you thoroughly inspect the delivery before signing for it.

Will there be a clear opening to load the back, if I open the back door and lift the hatch ? Or is there going to still be a bar across the middle like the one that I roll into the softtop back window?
The area you refer to is clear, and the tailgate retainer bar is not used for hardtop. Thanks for your inquiry.

I have this top on a 2018 JK. Can you recommend the proper roof rack for light luggage or kayak?
Racks that use your hardtop rain gutters will serve well for light luggage. Most basic drip rail mounted racks for Cargo do not have the appropriate attachment for kayaks and personal water craft though. Garvin expedition, Full Rack or adventure rack designs are likely the best equipped to handle both storage needs. Thanks for your inquiry.
