Reviews for Quadratec LED Tail Light Kit for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Easy install - work great with provided flasher module. A subtle safety/style update after my stock units rusted out internally. Would recommend!
Just installed these on my 2004 TJ.
Took about 40 minutes because the passenger side is a bit difficult.
I pulled the plastic inner fender cover out of the way and used a fish wire to guide the new wires down to where i could plug them in to the connection.
They work great and i really like the bright backup lights.
Put on sons jeep plug and play.
These look awesome and light up the night for those looking to keep the factory taillight look. Installation is pretty straight forward, and can be done with simple hand tools. The passenger side gave me some trouble, but that was due to the factory harness being INSANELY short and the fuel pump being smashed into the back of the TJ tub. I pulled the passenger rear tire, unbolted all of that nonsense, and the taillight went in easily.
Well packaged
Good quality
Good instructions
(2006 TJ Sport)
Driver side was simple, as the plug could be pulled right out of the hole (Took about 15 minutes)...Passenger side plug was much more difficult to get to and it was very difficult to separate the old plug to make way for the new one...Hard to find and very little room for hands and/or tools...(Took about 1:45 hrs)
works great Perfect Fit would buy over and over
Original lights leaked. Replacement lights leaked. Third set is the charm. Easy install. Work and look great.
Very bright, easy to install. Plug and play. Will buy again if I ever need to.
Well built and fit perfectly. Very bright which is a bonus. Only gripe was how tight the space was behind the old lights to unplug them. Not a criticism of the new lights, but it was tough to get to the clips to disconnect them. New lights were a breeze to hook back up.
Perfect fit for my 05 LJ. The only issue I ran into was that the wires on my jeep weren't long enough to make it truly plug and play - NOT a fault of the lights...it's just how my jeep was wired. Was simple enough to deal with and they were installed and working in under an hour.
