Reviews for Rigid Industries Radiance Pod LED Light Pair
Toughness
They was great on my last Jeep
I'm not sure how anyone could say these are "not bright at all"- I am using them as rear bumper lights in my Hyline Ridgeline bumper, and I had to wire them to a switch so I would stop lighting up the inside of my neighbor's house (75' off the end of my driveway) when I backed out of my driveway. I used the backlight function to come on with my reverse lights, and the main beams to come on as rear work lights- or if I need extra visibility backing up. For the price, I think they are a solid deal. No, they don't come with a harness. These are Rigid's more adaptable series, and because there are different ways to hook them up, you have the option of using a regular lighting harness, (which is what I used for my setup) or the Radiance version of the harness that has a 3 position switch and a third wire for the backlight circuit.
This is my review. I selected amber background lights to not violate State safety/ emergency vehicle codes. I wired to my MOPAR AUX port by merging the background and main lights so needing only one switch (it is pretty easy and straight forward). See my photos should they post and be approved. I am combining with my JL's factory (LED) headlights and fog lights for night and early morning driving. I believe they fill in the void well and produce abundant light. I am very satisfied and highly recommend this product. I have at least twenty Ridge Industries lighting over the years and up to a 50" bar with one having a defect.
Haven't hooked them up yet, I missed part of the description! (harness sold separately)! Ordered the harness today! May change the rating but I'm sure I'll like them. 3 of 5 for now only because all lights I have bought included a harness.
Not bright at all. You pay a lot for the back lighted function. No harness.
