Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 07-18 Wrangler Unlimited JK 4-Door
Fit- 9/10
Fit is spot on but the seems have started tearing apart after less than a year. I did NOT over tighten the adjusters.
Function- 10/10
Dries fast, stays cool. No complaints.
Look- 2/10
I used UV protectant spray DILIGENTLY! Top was rarely down, but front side windows were not tinted for 5 months in South Florida. BOTH front seats and head rests look closer to pink than red and the black is now gray! Not even a year in...The rear seat and headrests have maintained their color perfectly, but sit behind tinted windows and a hard top. Maybe this is the "nature of the beast," either way for the money, I doubt I'll reinvest.
The seat covers went on easily. They feel cheap and are already falling apart on the driver side seat near the seat recliner lever
These covers are fading fast, and I have not had them very long. Also, they already have small tears in them due to normal wear. I do not recommend.
looks great, but this set tore after one year. My last seat covers lasted 8 years.
Material has obviously changed.
And not happy with this purchase.
Very disappointed in the seat covers. First, it says that you get a free console cover and UV protective spray. Those were on back order and I did not receive them until a little over a month later. Here’s the big problem….its too late! They are already changing color after one month. I wonder, is the spray a requirement to make them UV resistant? If that is the case, don’t ship them separately? Anyway, I have no idea if you spray the seats, that they will not change color. I can tell you that if you do not spray them, they will change color in a month….see pics. 2009 Silver JKU - black and gray covers.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING!! Bought these covers just over a year ago in January. I wish I looked a little sooner because I would have emailed the manufacturer (I still may). They will not hold up to the name. I have a wear tear in the driver side cover after one year. They are thick and well made just not durable. I would consider other options. If I would’ve known I’d only get a year out of them I wouldn’t have wasted over $200. I liked that they covered the whole seat. I’d submit a pic, but no space for that. Hope this helps others looking at these.
Got yellow seat covers as mother's day gift, they are beautiful for few months because they fade quickly. They sent me a new set since I hadn't had them long. They also gave me some stuff to help with the fading. Well fast forward months and they have faded AGAIN; this time even using the stuff they sent. If you always keep top and doors on these will work great if not DONT ORDER. They won't last.
I bought these for my daughter's Jeep for Christmas. She didn't install them until this summer. After only a couple months, mostly with the top on and a shade screen the rest of the time, they are horribly faded! The black looks purple! I thought the original black cloth seats looked faded, but these are so much worse!
I loved them after I first installed them. They seemed to fit great and looked sharp! I took my top off (with an alien sunshade) and within 3 days the material began fading terribly. They look awful now. The material doesn’t feel the same either and after being caught in one light rain for approx 5 min, they didn’t seem to be good in water either. Material still has a mildewed smell.
I was excited when I first got these but not so much a few months later. They fade so fast they look pink now. I’m quite disappointed. I don’t recommend them if you want the color to stay.
