Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 07-18 Wrangler Unlimited JK 4-Door
very comfortable , but slides off easy.but easy to pop back on . i feel better with it than without.
Mostly bought these to keep my three-year-old from completely destroying the back of the seats with dirty shoes. They look okay, although the yellow appears to be Hella Yella and not Baja Yellow, but the color has faded noticeably in the two front seats after only 3-4 months, and the center console cover is starting to wear out from me resting my elbow on it.
These look really sharp. I do have a problem with how fast they are fading, considering my Jeep is in the garage 95% of the time or more. I'm getting replacements and going to give a try at using UV Protectant to see if that helps. I would say that the company that makes these should coat them in UV protection at the factory and supply it free with every purchase.
I've had these for a few months now. Charcoal gray inserts in my 2017 JKU.
Pros-
1. Installation was easy.
2. Look nice.
3. Price
Cons
1. Installation is so easy because these fit pretty loose. They bunch up and shift around. There are at least 8 straps on the seat cover bottoms and even after snugging all of them several times they still fit pretty loose.
2. They are not very breathable. I notice my back getting sweaty and that never happened with the factory cloth seats.
3. Color match between panels isn't exact. Driver side a little darker than passenger side.
For the price these do the job they were meant to do. Protect the factory seats.
Very easy to install. For the price I paid, I’m disappointed thtat in 2 months time being on my vehicle, the red and black have faded and look bad.
Purchased these in Red\Black in the beginning of March and inserted them as soon as they arrived. Since then I have had the top and doors off for one stretch of 5 days and that is it. They were beautiful when first installed and many people commented on them. I even had someone in a pimped out Mercedes standing and admiring when I had the doors off. Here is where the issue begins though...the Red is already fading to Pink. Two months after purchasing, with only 5 days of total sun, and the fading has begun.
Look great, and they are fairly easy to install. Having black leather seats I thought these would lead to cooler seats, and while the surface temperature of the seat may be cooler after being out in the sun, they definitely retain heat - like sitting on a blanket. They could fit more snugly. Biggest problem, there is no cut-out for child-seat locking mechanism (LATCH?) in the rear seats, at least not on the passenger side.
Good product. I wish I could’ve gotten an exact match to the exterior color of my car, but I realize that is most likely unrealistic. They do look great, although I don’t know if they do breathe as well as I might want them to
These looked great for abot 4 months. The black has faded to the point they are a brownish grey color. They do fit and installed easily. But i would not recommend for the money i would have hoped they would have maintained the color for a longer time.
There are two reasons to get seat covers:
1. Looks good.
2. Protects seats while being comfortable.
In the past year and a half since I have had these the red has faded to pink even though it's been sheltered from sustained sunlight. A couple of the straps/buckles have detached or snapped from the fabric.
This means that these neither look good nor are they able to serve their intended purpose. For the price it was not worth it.
