Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 07-18 Wrangler Unlimited JK 4-Door
If you want seat coverage but don't need to save your seats from driving in the rain with the top off, these will work great. Instructions are no good and i couldn't find labels on the front seat bottoms, but a little time and i got it right. Tight fit to the point that there's a gap in the seat back between the cover and seat. Take the time to find good attachment points below the front seats for the bungie hooks to keep them free of the seat sliders and not rubbing. On my passenger seat i used the inch long oval slot in the seat rail then hooked them together. This took some finesse. Driver side is currently under my slightly raised height adjustment. I'll revisit that when i can. No bag trick needed as the velcro is on the seat back instead of the front flap to feed through. All zippers and velcro reached to close with ease once it was all fed through properly. Mind the rear seatbelt during install. A small negative is the map pocket... it's just loose enough to get folded down when dropping the rear seats. Just have to pay attention now.
Better than I thought!
If Wet Oakley (WO)is a 10, then fit wise these are a 9, quality wise a 7 and price wise a 12. Clearly not as thick or strong as WO- I could hear a few fabric tears as I stretched them in place. The big question is will they last 8 years like my last set of WO's did????
Up front it's a good deal.
Now that they were installed, they look slick. But, I have to admit they were not easy to install. Came in a box that was significantly damaged. Instructions were lacking. But, eventually we got them all on. Actually had to remove them after I installed and now that I know how to do it, they go on quick.
Went on pretty easy, though the included directions aren't very helpful.
Seem to be a good product so far but I just purchased them and installed a week ago. The fit is ok on my 2013 Rubicon, a little loose in some locations on the front seat but I can cinch it down tighter as they break in. Do a good job of covering the leather seats for protection against weather and people. Pretty happy overall. Additionally, I was going to order another product but it ended up being out of stock. Received outstanding customer service from a couple of guys at Quadratec and they quickly informed me so I could make a change if I wanted. Even matched the cost of the original product I was looking at. Great job Quadratec! That's why I come to you for my Jeep needs!
Got them today and I LOVE them! I got the red/black ones. It was a nice surprise b/c I was told they wouldn't ship till mid June. It took me about 30 minutes to install them. The only hard part is connecting everything under the seats. You have to be a little like a pretzel to get to everything, but once its all done, you will not be disappointed. I gave them 4 stars b/c they aren't a super tight fit, but they are fine and they are comfy too!
Know what you are buying and you'll be surprised. They are great for the price. Comfortable, good fit... not great fit. They fit around the seat perfectly but at the recline space on the front seats, they leave a little to be desired. Just kind of stop. Dont cover the whole seat, but fit around the height adjuster and seat back position handle well. Installation took less than an hour (take the bench out). They will be great as trail covers.
AMAZING fit and easy to install... HOWEVER.... it faded DRASTICALLY in less than 2 months in the sun. It was deep black & a beautiful bright blue when installed in June.... it is August 11th and the black is a pale, dull grey. It looks like it is 20 yrs old. I was VERY disappointed with this especially for the cost. I could pay $40 to get this result at a part store. Ruined the whole purchase for me and made me angry
While initially I was quite pleased by these covers due to the ease of install, quality fit, and nice look, I have been overall disappointed by their durability. After about 14 months of use, the driver's side seat started to fray next to the door. 10 months later, the entire side has disintegrated.
Great looking covers, but do not expect them to be a lasting investment.
Not a tight fit , at least for JK. Average at best .
