The gutters on the freedom panels should not be used for the front portion of this rack kit. Both cross rails should be on the back half of the hardtop only. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Why does Mopar not recommend use with a canoe? I have a 44 lb. Radisson canoe, so it is nowhere near the potential weight limit.
Even though the weight may still be ok, the bars cannot spread far enough apart to accommodate the length and fore/aft movement of a canoe.

Will these work on a sky slider power roof?? I'm concerned about clearance space with the rack installed. Is there enough room to retract the power roof?
The folding sections will need assistance to clear the crossbars, opening the top with without guiding the folds could damage the mechanism

Can you attach the crossbar to the freedom panels or is it meant to connect only to the hardtop?
It is only meant to clamp to the hardtop section. The rails on the panels should not carry any weight.
