What is the load capacity of the set of cross bars or the load capacity of each?
Jeep only lists the load capacity as installed at 150 lbs evenly distributed.

These crossbars add 3.75" of additional height from the hardtop and are 64" wide

No, the cross bars do not lock

Is this like the Thule bars that you can peel back the rubber stripping on top and take off end cap to put T Bolt on to mount accessories like awnings
Yes, the ends pop off, and the rubber center strip can be removed to expose a t-slot.

How many pounds can this hold? Would it hold kayaks or one of the tents that can sit on top with 2 occupants?
Unfortunately, that data has not become available yet. This will not be able to hold a lot of weight, because it attaches directly to the hardtop. The JK hard top could not hold more than about 150lbs of evenly distributed weight. You can expect similar results from this rack, but an exact weight rating has not been published. Mopar has stated this is not recommended for canoes or kayaks. A rooftop tent is out of the question for any hardtop mounted rack.
