Do these require a code to program them? My dealership said they couldn’t do a flash without the code for the six switches?

Yes,

2. Click on the Service tab. Inside the Warranty Administration box, click on “Vehicle Option Updates”.

I understand it provides (2) 40A circuits and (2) 15A circuits. Are they pre assigned to specific switch numbers or can you customize which circuit rating you want assigned to each switch number?

See page 23 of the installation instructions. The amps are controlled by the relays that are mounted under the hood. You can reconfigure them to your liking.

on page 7 of the instructions, is this the part where the dealer has to re-flash the ECU? and does everything on page 7 need to completed before the actual installation of the wiring? entering VIN #'s and sales codes sounds more like Dealer jargon.

You can install the harness and switch bank but it will not operate until the dealer flash process is complete. At that point you can return to the instructions for setting up the switches.

Does this kit come with relays for adding extra lights to the bumper or do you have to order relays with the lights?
Thanks.

Any additional relays required for additional lighting will need to be supplied with the lights or separately.

Once this package is all installed, where do accessories get hooked up?

The accessory wires will be located in the engine compartment once the install is complete.

Is the difference between black trim and chrome trim the only difference in color?
Is there a difference in the system?

There is no difference in the function, only the aesthetic.

What if I don't care about controlling the switches through the uconnect system. Can I just use the switches and push them with my finger to turn on and off what ever I have connected to them? Mainly wanting the switches to control external light bars and spot lights. I don't really need to control them with my uconnect system.

They will function as regular switches but will still have to be activated in the system in order for the computer to recognize the new part.

I have a sport with the 5” screen. Can the switches work for it too? Or does it have to have the 7” and up screen?

This will work in all model consoles, with all screen sizes.

I have a 2018 MOAB edition which has chrome trim like the Rubicon and this model does not have the rear differential lock switch. If I buy the chrome trim option to match the MOAB, does it come with the 1/2 cubby shell?

No, you receive the cubby or switch bank, if you would like to purchase a 1/2 cubby for either side of that kit you can find them here : https://www.quadratec.com/p/mopar/auxiliary-switch-bank-storage-wrangler-jl-gladiator-jt
