It says it works with 2025 JL 2 door, but instructions say JK hooks and forums show you have to buy $100 adapter to make it work with JL ?
The picture is of the JK model as we've been waiting for Lange to provide pictures of the installation on a JL. We can ensure you the part shipped is for the JL. In regards to people on the forums talking about an additional part is likely due to this part number not including a storage bracket for the freedom panels, which can be purchased separately.

How close to the ceiling can the top get with this? I only have about 3 feet of clearance.
You can get about 6"-8" between the hardtop and the ceiling.

This says it works for a 78 CJ7 but the instructions don’t indicate which hook to use. Which hook is correct?
Black is for JK, CJ and YJ; Red for TJ

We have this from our previous Jeep. My husband recently upgraded to a '20 JL. Will this work? If not is there something we can use to convert it or do we have to purchase a whole new mechanism?
This one specifically is for the CJ, YJ, TJ, LJ, & JK. We recommend you purchase a new one specifically for the JL.
