Description
Got your eye on some larger wheels and tires for your Wrangler JL? The 2" Spacer Lift Kit from Daystar is a great option. Once installed, this kit will lift and level the Jeep, and allow for the fitment of 35" tires on the Sport/Sahara editions and 37" tires on the Rubicon editions. The heavy-duty coil spacers are Kevlar infused polyurethane that will not degrade or corrode over time, which gives optimal performance and longevity. All components are specifically designed for the Wrangler JL to retain the factory ride comfort while being more than capable off-road. Lower front control arms to help with caster and bump steer and with drivability. The kit lifts it 2” front and rear. Installation requires no drilling, cutting or modifications. Made in the USA.

I've had this lift on the jeep for more than 8 months now, it is a great life but the control arms have rusted (surface rust).. i did get into the sea (sand boat ramp) a few times but i always wash the jeep after offroading. i recommend powder coating or raptor lining the control arms before installing to avoid this in the future.

This kit is good but mine was not complete. My kit was missing the front sway bar links, and the front shock extension, and was also missing the hardware for the bump stop spacers. The front control arms are about 1/2” longer so it keeps your caster where it should be which is good. I like this kit because of the control arms.

Questions

What are the 2 metal rectangular pieces, they don't appear to be required.
They are rear bump stop extensions. Step 16 on page 3 of installation will show their installation. They are required for safe use.
Is this lift over and above the current 1" lift on the 2020 Rubicon (meaning a total 3" lift), or would that be removed for a total lift of 2"?
This is a 2" spacer kit for the coil springs. Whatever coil springs you have in there now, this kit will provide a 2" lift over that.
