Gladiator JT: The Quadratec 2.5in Suspension Lift Kit is designed specifically for the Gladiator JT. Quadratec offers two different versions for the Rubicon and the Sport or Sahara trim packages.
Shock Options: Select from Quadratec's Nitro or Hydro shocks. 8.0 Nitro shock absorbers are recommended for moderate to extreme off-road use and provide a firmer ride over stock shocks. The internal components instantly respond to any change in driving conditions and the 150 psi high-pressure nitrogen gas shocks are our fastest responding shocks. 7.0 Hydro shocks are recommended for mild to moderate off-road use. The internal components instantly respond to any change in driving conditions. The true velocity sensitive valving produces a stable and controlled level of resistance for improved handling and stability while maximizing ride comfort.
Bolt-On Installation: For ease of installation, the Quadratec 2.5in Suspension Lift Kit mounts to your Jeep without cutting, drilling, or other modification. This kit comes complete with front and rear coil springs, bump stops and sway bar links.
Run Larger Wheels and Tires: With this kit, you will be able to fit 35x12.50 tires 35” tall tires on non-Rubicon models, and 37” tires on a Rubicon. If you plan on using factory wheels, then you will need to check for clearance on the sway bar end links and control arms.
Level 3AdvancedThis lift raises the front 2.5” & rear about 1.5” so this takes out 1” of OE rake.
Extended brake lines are not necessary or included.

Why You Can Skip Them Initially:
Included Components: This is a comprehensive kit that already includes everything required for the 2.5-inch height change—such as longer dual-rate coil springs, matching shock absorbers, extended sway bar links, and bump stops to correct suspension geometry safely.
Mild Lift Geometry: At 2.5 inches of lift on a Gladiator JT, your factory control arms and track bars will keep the axles within an acceptable operating range without causing extreme steering bind or unsafe handling.
Optional Upgrades to Consider:
Front Track Bar: While not required, a front adjustable track bar can help perfectly re-center your front axle side-to-side (as a lift shifts the axle slightly toward the driver's side due to the fixed track bar length).
Control Arms / Geometry Brackets: Upgrading to adjustable control arms or adding geometry correction brackets isn't mandatory at 2.5 inches, but some drivers add them later to fine-tune caster angles and restore a factory-like highway steering feel.
The Problem with Factory Length: Even though factory Rubicon models come with high-performance monotube shocks, they are physically too short to accommodate a true 2.5-inch lift. If you reuse them, the shocks will act as severe limiting straps, topping out prematurely whenever the suspension drops (such as over bumps or during off-road articulation). This causes harsh impacts, ruins your ride quality, and can quickly damage the internal components of the shocks.
