Volant Air Duct: Factory air inlet ducts use sound baffles and awkward bends which restrict flow. The Cross-Link polyethylene air ducts are sculptured to give the engine less restrictive breathing. Incorporating larger diameters and unique bends, that can't be duplicated with metal ducts, allow for maximum airflow velocity and throttle response.

Volant delivers with its highly effective Cold Air Intake System. Volant designed its new Intake System to replace the restrictive factory air intake and duct on 2012 model Jeep JK Wranglers. The intake system fits the 3.6-liter V-6 engine and combines a high-flow air inlet tube, larger air filter box, and a newly designed polished aluminum lid with a clear window, to easily see the condition of the filter without having to remove it. The Jeep intake system also comes Volant's PowerCore® filtration technology that's maintenance-free, provides up to 99.97 percent filtration efficiency and lasts up to 100,000 miles. The sealed air intake system keeps out hot engine heat but features larger air inlet vents to allow more cold air to get to the filter.

Very cool looking and works well
Positive previous experience with a Volant product.
More air please!! Acceleration is way better, no hesitation and love the throatier sound too. Did not add a spacer. Didn't see the need for it. I may in the future just because. Uses existing sensor. Might be getting 1-1 1/2 more in mpg. Very easy install. I did drill a hole in the bottom of box for water drainage. I highly recommend it
