This does not include the seal. The part number for the seal is 55014.0939. Added to the recommended parts.

Does this retainer attach to the tailgate or the glass
This attaches to the lower portion of the glass itself.

What brand/type of glue do you recommend?
We recommend using an automotive grade 2 part epoxy. 3M makes adhesives that work for this application and are available in most automotive part stores.
