Here’s the latest news and information.

King of the Hammers 2026: Legendary Off-Road Race Returns for 20th Anniversary

The King of the Hammers is gearing up for its 20th anniversary edition in 2026, bringing back the world’s most demanding off-road racing event to Johnson Valley, California from January 22 through February 7. KOTH is widely regarded as the ultimate challenge in off-road motorsports, and combines high-speed desert racing with technical rock crawling, creating a punishing competition that requires drivers and vehicles to overcome challenges across numerous difficult terrain types.

This year’s schedule features a full slate of races and events, beginning with King of the Motos and Desert Challenge, leading up to the Race of Kings in the Unlimited 4400 class, where top drivers fight for the coveted title. Thousands of spectators and competitor teams flock to Hammertown each year, a temporary on-site off-road community where fans, crews, and brands converge amid dusty pits and rock-strewn trails.

More than just a race, King of the Hammers annually celebrates two decades of off-road innovation, camaraderie and unrelenting competition. If you can’t make the trek to Johnson Valley, KOTH is also streamed live throughout the event’s run.

2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 Orders Open Nationwide

Jeep has officially opened nationwide orders for the 2026 Wrangler Moab 392, bringing the brand’s V8-powered off-road flagship to a broader audience for the first time. Previously limited to select regions, the Moab 392 is now available across the U.S., pairing Jeep’s proven Trail Rated capability with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 producing 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. It marks one of the most aggressive factory Wranglers ever offered and kicks off Jeep’s Twelve 4 Twelve special-edition release program celebrating the brand’s 85th anniversary.

“The Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 represents everything our brand stands for, authentic capability and value, legendary performance and confidence-inspiring power,” said Jeep Brand CEO Bob Broderdorf. “Now available in all 50 states, it gives enthusiasts everywhere access to one of the most capable Wranglers we’ve ever built.”

Built on the Wrangler Rubicon platform, the Moab 392 includes heavy-duty Dana 44 axles, a full-time Selec-Trac 4WD system, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and upgraded brakes and suspension designed to handle the extra power. Distinctive Moab-specific badging, bronze exterior accents, and premium interior touches set it apart visually, while performance features like launch control and a reinforced driveline underline its dual role as a street and trail machine.

With V8 options disappearing across the industry, the Wrangler Moab 392 represents a rare opportunity for Jeep enthusiasts to secure factory-backed HEMI power in a fully trail-ready package. Orders are now open, and availability is expected to be limited, making this one of the most talked-about Wrangler releases heading into the 2026 model year.
