Super easy to install solo and doesn't take much time at all. The instructions were crystal clear and listed the tools you needed beforehand, which you can also download a digital copy off the product page if you want to be sure you have the right stuff ahead of time. I currently lease my JL with the intention to buy afterward, and my dealer said I could put this hitch on without any issues with my agreement since it isn't wired in, so don't let you dealer try to nickel and dime you; you can do just the hitch and you can do it solo. I also put side step bars on myself for 1/4 of the price of what the dealer wanted.
