Ease of installation

Great hitch, however the instrucitons/video are a little lacking for the plastic bumper option.
They mention the need to slide the fascia bracket forward, however in the video, the bumper is gone, and in the instructions, they just sort of say "do it"
Truth is, that bracket, is not that easy to just 'tilt forward' when the bumper is still on the jeep. You may need 2 people to really pull it forward, to get the hitch up inside of it.
Beside that, instructions are clear, just mind the bracket

Works great, quality materials, easy installation. Only drawback is there is no bracket for the wiring harness to attach to.

Great value. A breeze to install hitch. Harness....not so much. 3 hours easy. Instructions poor. Bracket doesn’t fit connnector so will have to find another I suppose.

This review is for both the trailer hitch and the wiring harness. The trailer hitch is a breeze to install. Takes about 10-15 minutes, and I had no issues. The wiring harness is another matter, though. It's a real pain because the instructions are not as detailed as they should be. There are a number of steps that leave you to make an educated guess and keep going. One of Quadratec's great install videos would have been very handy here!

Fortunately, I had a friend helping me, so hopefully we made some good guesses to make up for the poor documentation of the wiring harness. I also want to point out that even though I installed the optional wiring harness bracket on the trailer hitch, the connector doesn't even fit it! Right now, I have it wrapped around the hitch, but I'm going to look for a better way to secure it. I will post a few photos to go along with this review. Look especially for the one where the wiring connector is shown to be too small for the bracket.

If I were rating the trailer hitch by itself, I'd give it 5 starts. The harness I'd have to give three stars because of the inadequate instructions. Therefore, I'm giving the combined kit 4 stars.
