Additional roll bar extension on the back will not allow the top-lift brand hoist to work properly. This one clamps the sides and (bonus) provides a storage option for 2 doors. Easily adjust lift height as well.

Just purchased the Lange Hoist-A-Cart gen II and it does exactly what I needed it to do and does it well. The cart is very well manufactured and engineered and the instructions are very well written. I do suggest watching the video provided by Lange for box 1 and box 2 (superb instruction video by Carter). I have a small garage with 8ft ceilings and my 2012 JK 4 door Jeep has a 2.5 inch lift kit. I still have plenty of room to hoist and maneuver the top around the garage on the lift. I really like I can lower the boom arm and fold it down for easy storage when not in use.
