Does these mirrors have the ability to fold in for car washes like the OEM mirrors?

No, the Quadratec Automatic Billet Aluminum Mirror Movers do not have a traditional folding mechanism like your OEM mirrors.
Because they are constructed from solid billet aluminum and designed to pivot automatically when the doors are opened or closed, they lack the spring-loaded "detent" that allows factory mirrors to fold inward against the body for a car wash.

While it’s probably not designed for it, is it possible to leave the pin installed so that the mirrors stay extended during driving, in order to use for better view when towing, do you see any concerns with that, again I understand it’s probably not the intended design?
Also, I read one comment/question about them being heated, and the answer given was no, however, it seemed like as long as the jeep was factory installed with defrost heating and motorized mirrors, then these mirrors would allow for the defrost capability to heat as well as being able to move the mirrors with the internal switch, is that not correct?

Technically, you can leave the locking pin engaged to keep the mirrors in the "extended" position while driving. However, there are two significant concerns to keep in mind:
Vibration and Leverage: When extended, the mirror sits further away from the pivot point. At highway speeds, the increased wind resistance and leverage can cause significant mirror glass vibration, making it difficult to see clearly.
Mechanical Stress: These movers are designed to pivot. Keeping them pinned in one position during high-speed travel puts constant shear stress on the locking pin and the billet housing. Over time, this could lead to "play" or wobbling in the mount.
Blind Spots: Because the geometry is designed to clear the door pillar when the doors are off, the angle might not be optimal for towing. You may find that while they are further out, the field of vision doesn't actually cover the length of your trailer as well as a dedicated clip-on towing mirror would.
Heating and Motorized Functionality
There is often confusion regarding "heated" mirrors with this kit. Here is the breakdown of why the answer is generally "No":
The Harness Limitation: The wiring harness included with the Mirror Movers is primarily designed to relocate the motor wires so you can still adjust the mirror glass using your factory door switch.
Heating Elements: In many cases, the extension harness provided does not include the extra pins/leads required to carry the high-amperage current for the defrost heating elements.
Physical Connection: Even if your Jeep has factory heated mirrors, the signal usually travels through the door's main wiring plug. When you remove the doors and plug into the Mirror Mover harness, that specific defrost circuit is often omitted to keep the relocation harness slim and manageable.
In short: You will keep your motorized adjustment, but you should expect to lose the heating/defrost capability while using these movers.

Are you aware of any more half doors they work with besides the Smittybilt SRC Tube Doors?

We've seen our customers use them with a variety of other doors - JCR half doors, Mopar half doors, SFZ half doors, and many others.

Do they make a power heated ones for a 2024 jl?

No, Sorry these are for JK only at this time.

Is the door able to stay open on its own once these are installed, or would the mirrors push them closed on their own?

These have no interference with normal door operation and function.

Does this work with the Quadratec Tube Doors (part #11147-1002)?

Sorry, but they do not. Thanks for your inquiry.

Can they be ordered without the 'Quadratech' printed on them? If not is it on the surface or below the surface?

Sorry, they cannot. The logo is printed into to mirror pane. Thanks for your inquiry.

Know any 50" light bar mounting brackets that would work with these? My light bar brackets use the top bolt of the mounts for this product so I do not think these would work without some serious modification to those brackets.

Yes. This design is a model that will allow the mounting of the mirror set. See the following link for part number 12005-8124 Light Bar mount with 2 bolt style mounting. Thanks for your inquiry.

Do you sell the mirror glass or a single mirror head separately? I'm working on a 2010 JK with this kit, the owner stated the mirror glass fell out while driving. Stock glass from a 2010 or 2011 do not match the mount within the mirror housing on this kit.
Can we get glass / backing plate or a single drivers side manual/non heated unit? I do see the pair but not glass or single heads.
Thanks!

Sorry, they are sold in pairs only. See the following link. Mirror head pair for Automatic Billet . Thanks for your inquiry.
