Simply install, straight forward. I had no issues with the clutch lever needing reclocked. Hope to utilize it soon.

This is a great looking winch. I have used it a couple of times so far and it worked flawlessly. Installation was a cinch. The cables could be just a couple of inches longer to hide them completely. The hook did show some rust after just a few days but that's expected. I would recommend the neoprene cover to keep the north east road salt off . The synthetic rope comes pre-spooled...so before you use it, rewind it under a load before use.

Installed great in my new modular bumper but when I plugged in the controller, it only worked in ‘winch out’, feeding line but would not ‘winch in’ or reverse, rewinding the line. Help line said it was a bad controller. Disappointed and had to rewind ten feet of line with only a six inch window to rotate the drum by hand. Been having issues lately with items on back order, need to step it up Qadratec!
