Jeep’s Twelve 4 Twelve program just became Thirteen 4 Twelve. Sort of.
With the brand launching its seventh Twelve 4 Twelve special edition Jeep Wrangler on Tuesday, dubbed Wrangler America250, it also decided to treat Canadians to a different version. A more powerful, region-restricted version.
Jeep calls it the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Rocky Mountain 392, and it arrives as a Canada-exclusive addition, blending V-8-powered chaos with a few distinctly Canadian touches along the way.
Built off the already bonkers Wrangler Moab 392 platform, the Rocky Mountain 392 keeps all the horsepower-infused ingredients enthusiasts have come to expect from Jeep’s 6.4-liter HEMI-powered Wrangler while layering in unique styling details, additional standard equipment, and a healthy dose of Canuck personality.
“This new Rocky Mountain 392 model gives Canadian customers a bold, special ‘Eh’dition of Jeep Wrangler, backed by unmistakable HEMI V-8 performance,” said Trevor Longley, president and CEO of Stellantis Canada. “It delivers real value as well, layering in country-exclusive graphics and making highly desirable features like the Sky One-touch powertop standard, so the loonies of our Canadian Jeep faithful go even further.”
Yes, Jeep actually used the phrase “Eh’dition.” And it does feel exactly like the kind of wink-and-nod energy this special edition was designed around.
At its core, though, the Rocky Mountain 392 remains every bit the high-horsepower Wrangler halo model enthusiasts already know well.
Under the hood sits Jeep’s naturally aspirated 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 producing 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, paired with a two-mode dual exhaust system that can either rumble politely through town or announce itself across an entire province depending on throttle input.
The Canadian special edition also retains the Moab 392’s serious off-road hardware, including 35-inch all-terrain tires, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a 4.56 axle ratio, and Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time transfer case. A functional cold-air intake hood with an integrated water separator also returns, helping the Wrangler maintain performance even during deep-water crossings.
In other words, this thing is still wildly overqualified for a grocery run.
Visually, the Rocky Mountain 392 leans into subtle exclusivity rather than over-the-top theatrics. Jeep adds special “Rocky Mountain” hood decals, a custom red swing gate plaque inside the tailgate, and body-color fender flares as standard equipment.
One of the bigger upgrades, however, is the inclusion of Jeep’s Sky One-touch powertop as a standard feature. The full-length power-operated fabric roof allows passengers to open up the cabin with the push of a button, adding another layer of fresh-air freedom to what already feels like one of the most theatrical Wranglers Jeep has ever built.
Inside, the Canada-only touches continue.
The cabin features 392-exclusive black Nappa leather seats accented with red stitching, while Dark Ruby Red seat belts draw inspiration from the Canadian flag. It’s a relatively understated nod to the market-specific theme, but one that helps separate the Rocky Mountain 392 from a standard Moab 392 without feeling forced.
And really, that seems to be the sweet spot Jeep keeps aiming for with these Twelve 4 Twelve releases.
Rather than reinventing the Wrangler formula entirely, the campaign has largely focused on creating regionally flavored, enthusiast-driven special editions that highlight different corners of Jeep culture. Some lean into nostalgia. Others focus on capability. This one feels designed specifically for Canadian Wrangler buyers who still want all the absurdity of a V-8-powered Wrangler, just with a little more national identity.
Jeep says the Wrangler remains the top-selling vehicle in Canada’s off-road utility vehicle segment through the first quarter of 2026, while also serving as Jeep Canada’s best-selling model overall. So introducing a Canada-exclusive 392 probably isn’t the hardest business case Stellantis has ever had to pitch.
Available in Bright White, Black, and Granite Crystal Metallic paint colors, the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Rocky Mountain 392 will arrive at select Canadian Jeep dealerships during the fourth quarter of 2026.
Pricing starts at $99,995 CAD, including destination and additional fees.
