2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Debuts With Heritage-Inspired Two-Tone Design in “Twelve 4 Twelve” Celebration
Jeep recently introduced the 2026 Wrangler Whitecap, the second special-edition model in its yearlong 'Twelve 4 Twelve' celebration marking the brand’s 85th anniversary with unique Wrangler variants released monthly. Unlike performance-focused editions, the Whitecap leans into brand heritage and classic styling, drawing inspiration from early civilian Jeeps like the CJ-Universal. Its defining visual cue is a Bright White painted hardtop and matching grille accents, creating a striking two-tone contrast with body colors that evokes the iconic “Arctic Top” look of Jeep history. The design is complemented by 1941-style side stripes on Sahara and Rubicon trims and an optional Bright White hood graphic on Rubicon models, providing visual flair with deep roots in Jeep’s past.
Available exclusively as an appearance package on Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon X trims, the Whitecap edition retains the Wrangler’s proven mechanical foundations, including available 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.6-liter V-6 engines paired with Jeep’s Selec-Trac part-time or full-time 4×4 drive systems. While the upgrades are largely cosmetic, they give buyers a distinctive way to personalize their Wrangler without sacrificing capability or off-road credentials. Pricing for the Whitecap package varies by trim level, starting as low as $495 on Rubicon X and increasing for packages that include body-color hardtops and fender flares. Orders are already open, extending the annual celebration of Wrangler’s heritage with another eye-catching option for fans of both classic and contemporary Jeep culture.
Windsor Assembly Plant Employees Deliver Holiday Cheer With $18,000 Toy Donation
Employees at Stellantis’ Windsor Assembly Plant recently brought the holiday spirit to life, donating approximately $18,000 worth of brand-new toys to support the Windsor Fire and Rescue Services’ annual Sparky’s Toy Drive.
The festive delivery was led by a Windsor-built, all-new SIXPACK-powered 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, driven by Santa Claus himself, followed by five Chrysler Pacifica minivans filled to capacity with toys for local families in need. The event blended community support with a celebration of Windsor’s role in producing some of Stellantis’ most exciting vehicles.
Plant Manager Peter Vitti highlighted the long-standing commitment of Windsor employees, noting that supporting Sparky’s Toy Drive has been a proud tradition for more than two decades. Union leadership echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the pride Unifor members take in giving back to the Windsor-Essex community during the holiday season. For organizers of Sparky’s Toy Drive, the continued partnership with Stellantis has been instrumental in helping reach thousands of children each year.
This year marks the 23rd consecutive year Stellantis employees have supported the toy drive. Since 2002, Windsor Assembly Plant teams have filled 128 vehicles with toys valued at nearly $320,000, making a lasting impact on local families.
