1983 CJ7 Jeep
The forestry service helped in the retirement of our CJ7 from trail duty. Giving up our CJ was not an option. At that point it would become a hard road cruiser, so it was time to make it a little more presentable. The old girl's facelift got a little out of control. What started out as a simple paint job ended as a total makeover.
Mods:
- 454 Chevy Engine with 396 Heads
- Turbo 350 1500 Stall and a NP 205 Transfer case
- 3/4 Ton Chevy axles with Detroit lockers
There are so many mods,that it would take half a day to list. It's no longer a trail rig, but it's a blast to drive!
