There are a lot of modifications out there designed to improve your vehicle's performance and look, like suspension lifts and larger wheels or tires. But when it comes to actually protecting the sides of your vehicle—especially when it goes off road—you need to really have something more solid in place . We're not talking stuff like chemicals, sprays, or anything like that, but thick mandrel bent steel tubing designed to take whatever that trail, or everyday life, throws at you. We call it the Quadratec QRC Side Armor or Rocker Guards. You’ll probably call it something else like hero or lifesaver that first time you accidentally scrape against a sheet metal-denting boulder, and roll away unscathed.

Now, you may think your vehicle has what it needs already thanks to factory-installed sidebars or steps, but we’ve seen all kinds of dented in factory bars with corresponding sheet metal scars so trust us. Those things may be good to help you get in and out of the vehicle, but you are going to want something strong and durable when headed off pavement.

Quadratec’s QRC Side Armor or Rocker Guards are fully-welded one piece designs using 2” diameter x .105” thick mandrel bent steel tubing. The Rocker Guards tuck up nicely against the Jeep’s body, while the QRC Side Armor Guards include integrated dimpled steps for protection and functionality. Plus, these products are both e-coated for external corrosion resistance and finished with an attractive black textured powder coating. And the best part, they bolt right to the Jeep using existing mounting locations which makes installation simple and quick.
