Reviews for Quadratec LED Interior Mount 50” Stealth Light Bar for 18-24 Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
I like that it's inside the vehicle and the design and I won't get any loud road noise.
No exterior mounting. Rust in NY is real
Inside mount, unique appearance and perfect performance.
Love the interior mount light bar. No noise, works good. I like it. Have had it on another Jeep I had previously.
Do yourself a favor and order this weatherstripping on amazon when you order this light. The light is awesome and install super easy. I was getting light leak on the dash and it was really annoying me. The new weatherstrip cleaned that up nicely.
No wind noise
Subtle and not over the top
This light bar is AWESOME it was so easy to install, it took less than a hour to put it in follow the video and you will have NO! Problem put this in trust me you need no mechanical smarts at all and once installed it is bright and great if you want a light bar for your Jeep (Mine is a gladiator) then this is the bar for you it is a must have Mod
Have a light bar but not the whistling
I installed this stealth internal lightbar on my Gladiator Mojave. I really wanted a lightbar but I have always been concerned about the wind noise and the weathering. Many complain about the noise of their external lightbar while driving and having to find a solution to reduce it. Also, with all the snow and salt on the roads in Chicago, I knew an external mount would weather over time. Lastly, I am also picky when it comes to the look of my rig and I love how this lightbar has such a clean look, being tucked behind the windshield.
The instructions were clear and easy to follow. There are a number of panels to take off, buts honestly it's very simple! It took me maybe an hour to install. I found that the ''Quadratec LED Stealth Interior Mount Light Bar for Jeep Wrangler JL & Jeep Gladiator JT'' installation video on Youtube, made by Quadratec, was very helpful. Definitely watch it through before the installation.
This lightbar has an amber and white light option. It puts out a ton of light at 10,000 lumens! You do not need a switch for it and there is no need to connect into your auxiliary switches. The light bar has a toggle switch on the driver side of the lightbar. White/Off/Amber.
One question I get asked a lot is about the glare and the visibility hindrance. You will get some light on your dash, but it's not too bad and the amber provides a neat ambiance in the cab. Nothing distracting. I do not get any glare/reflection on the windshield. It does reduce visibility slightly, but not much. I think all the pros greatly out weigh this con. I am 5'8", and so it's hardly noticeable for me, but someone who is 6'2" might have more of an issue with it. Something to consider for sure, but it is a preference.
With all that being said, I absolutely love my lightbar and I would highly recommend it! The white flood really works well and helps you see everything in front of you. The amber helps in low visibility situations.
Give it a try! Quadratec has awesome customer service I'd you run into any issues.
