Reviews for Quadratec LED Interior Mount 50” Stealth Light Bar for 18-24 Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
Single bar on the 22 Gladiator, Shape isn't quite right doesn't fit tight against the top or the window. (Tried it a few times) so lots of light shines into the cab. It is super bright though and great idea.
It’s a quality and convenient product, but the fit is disappointing. Like several reviewers online, I am disappointed with the amount of light that leaks around the edges. It will fit fairly tight against the windshield but not the roof. Also the wires to the rearview mirror cause a gap between the light and windshield which causes a glare. Had I know this before I bought the light , I would have gone a different direction. It is not worth the price (not even the now discounted price).
Poor fitment, Hard to get rid of light bleed, For the price seems like this could have been done better, That being said, Pretty Bright!
I like the light and yes you have to really work with it to fix the glare issue, but the biggest issue I am having is visibility. The windshield of a Jeep is already VERY small and this light cuts off 3-4" minimum from your view. I am 6' and cab't see the traffic lights unless I crouch down. And when driving through the mountains, it simnifically cuts off the glorious view, which is why I am in the mountains in the first place.
I will say they are great to work with and have been VERY accommodating. The product looks great. Staff is great. Just not sure a light inside the vehicle works well for safety reasons.
Getting the grab handle A-Pillar back in without messing up the gasket and wire is almost impossible. It is impossible to not have light bleed through the top or sides of the bar as the side gaskets don't cover everything. Some better, thicker foam/rubber at the top and sides would easily solve it. 2021 Gladiator Mojave
I love the light bar but it's really not a tight fit for the gladiator no matter how I adjust it. It needs more weather stripping and I expect more for the price. There is a LOT of light leakage and the bracket position that has the least light leakage makes it hard to get my visors to clip into place. Will it be perfect when I get done re-weather stripping it and adjusting the bracket position, sure. Am I happy about having to pull it back off/down and then re-install it with better weather stripping? No.
All white LEDs work. One group of Amber LEDs don’t work. Have to call Quadratec on Monday for a replacement...stinks to have to uninstall then reinstall a new one
The product is an awesome concept, however the seal that comes with the bar is insufficient on its own for preventing glare. The bar does provide great lighting and does look great inside the Jeep as well.
Thoroughly disappointed.
I waited for a long time for order to be fulfilled.
I watched reviews and read reviews.
I had unit professionally installed by a respected Jeep Custom shop at a Jeep dealership. Not an inexpensive endeavor.
Output MIGHT be fine if it had a descent seal/gasket against windshield. Windshield glare/refraction is blinding and dangerous.
I feel rooked. Quadratec should remove their name from this product and/or force manufacturer to improve design or stop carrying this product IMHO.
Horrible Product.
The seals do not even come close to keeping light out of the cab and off the dash. We have adjusted it several times and there is simply no way to keep the light out with the included seals. A strip of electrical tape seams to seal it up just fine so clearly the problem is with the included seal(s). If they were even 1/8" thicker this would be a non-issue. Using electrical tape is NOT a permanent solution as it does not stick well to the seal already on the light and quite frankly, looks terrible from the outside. This is inexcusable for a product that cost over $800 once tax is included.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed and would not buy it again, nor recommend it.
