Hoist works as advertised. I really like the ease of lifting (auto-hold is instant and secure) (block and tackle improve lift leverage). The auto-hold is also very helpful when lowering, Be sure understand instructions and watch "how tos" (videos) BEFORE doing your install. Paper does not offer many helpful hints, but videos do.

Took some time to install the support system, but works perfectly. Hardtop has been hanging up without issue for months.

Have had mine now for approximately 9 years with lots of use and works well. Like it well enough that I bought one for my son over a year ago. The install was a bit of a pain, mostly due to a poor stud finder.
