The lift makes removing the hardtop easy and safe to store

It's exactly what I needed. Do locate studs, map out and install it took me an afternoon. I can raise the entire top with one arm no problem. I did add 2 extra straps as emergency back up in case the thin ropes fail, that is my only concern. I cannot be more pleased with this system.

Fairly easy to install and looks great now that my top is up and out of the way. I have 10 foot ceilings and have plenty of room to walk underneath without hitting my head. I can go up even higher if I readjust the straps. Only concern is the wall anchor and how secure is it. Im also concerned with the straps eventually cutting in or permanently damaging the rear window seals. Overall love the ease of use.

I'm definitely an amateur at home improvement, and my garage (and attic directly above) are finished, so finding the studs was difficult. It took me a while to get everything in place, but the instructions are clear enough and now that I've got it set up, it's working like a charm! Not heavy at all to lift by pulling the rope (you don't need one with a crank/winch system to lift your hard top!). I do use it to store my hard top, at least for a couple days at a time, and I have no fear of it falling. If I can assemble this (including cutting and installing the mounting boards) you can install this. Do yourself a favor and paint some parking lines on your garage floor so you can line your Jeep up with it the first time you pull in your garage!

Very glad I purchased this and saved the money. So easy to lift off. Set up was certainly a pain in the neck but now that it's up, no complaints

This was relatively easy to install, maybe 2 hours at best. Makes taking the hard top off extremely easy for one person.
